Coach's Last Word... by Pat Digiglio

"Friday.
Competitive in all 3 games on Friday, however results didn’t go our way.

Saturday.
A new day brought with it a new attitude & determination to give it all. And this is what the ladies did.

5 games
4 wins & a draw.

The pride & passion shown by the team particularly in their last game when they were reduced to 5 players on the field for just over 7 minutes with only 3 subs. The Tiger spirit shone through toughing out a 0-0 draw.

Finishing top of the pool moved us straight into the semi finals of the Bowl.

Sunday.
With injuries & other factors, the girls enter the semi final against Penrith with 10 players.

An effort & performance that at times was precise, faultless & would bring tears to any supporters eyes. The 20’s girls kept control of the game winning by 1 try.

GF.
Vs Penninsula
Again with 10 players & what seemed like an army of supporters behind them, the girls put on a determined effort they can all be so proud of.

With a few decisions & bounce of the ball not favorable, the girls went down by only 1 try.

It was such an honour & pleasure to be a part of this memorable State Cup 2019.

Well done Ladies!

Bring on next year."
