At the recent NSW Touch Football State Cup held in Port Macquarie the Balmain club had 3 referees upgraded.
- Jacob Hogan and Charlotte Pratt from Level 1 to Level 2
- Craig Carmody from Level 3 to Level 4. Craig is now part of the elite group of State Graded referees.

Competitive in all 3 games on Friday, however results didn’t go our way.

The pride & passion shown by the team particularly in their last game when they were reduced to 5 players on the field for just over 7 minutes with only 3 subs. The Tiger spirit shone through toughing out a 0-0 draw....
Due to the Melbourne Cup, there will be no games for the Mixed Competition next Tuesday, 5th November.
The summer competition has been pushed back another week, starting 22nd/23rd October.
Team nomination deadline is on October 15th, Tuesday. Full early bird fee must be transferred by the 24th October, Monday.
We are implementing a new rule, going forward. Players in mixed teams are only able to play in one mixed team per night. The rule of one game per night does not apply to Wednesday night competitions.

It has been a record year with Balmain Touch entering 5 teams in the Vawdon Cup. Two men's and two women's teams and one girls youth team, in conjuction with Balmain Junior Touch Association.

Too many rep tournament finals are never enough for some of our club's finest players. Earlier today (Saturday) Balmain's own Cook Islands connection Terry Joe, Johanne Joe, Briar Turley, Mei George and Ben Tokahere finished as silver medallists in the over-30s mixed division at the Touch World Cup in Malaysia. The Kukis won eight and drew one of their 10 pool games (losing only to defending champions Australia) in oppressive heat to qualify for the finals in second position...
