Balmain Touch Football Association, on the back of a very successful representative year in 2017, are looking to enter four sides in the 2018 NSW Vawdon Cup competition which runs from July to September.

Balmain Touch Association Mens summer competition, recently, concluded with two entertaining Grand Finals.

Men’s Division 1 was played between two old foes, Leebrye Lizards against The Vikings.

Both teams had mixed results throughout the competition and both won their respective semi-finals, comfortably, to progress to the Grand Final.

Message from the President

Balmain Tigers finished the representative season on fire at the recently completed State Cup held 1st-3rd December, in Port Macquarie.

Balmain had three teams competing, Men's Open B, Senior Mixed and Women's Under 20's.

The Men's B team were narrowly beaten 6-7 in the semi-final of the the Men's Shield competition.

Representing Balmain Touch Football in the NSW State Cup

State Cup 2018 registrations to represent Balmain Touch Football Association have been very popular this year.

We have nominated the following teams to take up to Port Macquarie for the 3-day tournament:

  • Under 20s Girls
  • Open Mens
  • Open Womens
  • Senior Mixed
  • Mens 40s

The committee is still looking for official managerial positions for some of the teams. The players and coaches for each team will be announced shortly.
