Balmain's Mixed Seniors (over-30s) crew has again done themselves and the club extremely proud, finishing runner-up at the 40th annual NSW State Cup played in Port Macquarie from December 2-4.
Coached by club president and life member Paul "Robbo" Robinson, Balmain charged into their second successive State Cup final unbeaten after topping Pool B (with an awesome for-and-against record of 39-4 over five games) and winning their quarter-final and semi-final.
But unfortunately the Tigers...
Congratulations for making the Balmain Senior Mixed team participating in the 2016 NSW State Cup. The NSW State Cup is being held from 2nd December - 4th December in Port Macquarie. We are seeded 2nd in the Senior Mixed competition.

Congratulations to the Balmain Senior Mixed team for making the 2015 NSW State Cup grand final. Going through to the grand final undefeated, unfortunately, runners-up for the day. Great effort by a rookie team that trained hard and prepared well.
A mixture of summer and winter competition players playing against each other at Timbrell Park, and then coming together with so much success at the State Cup.
