We at Balmain Touch hope you are all well and coping physically and mentally during these difficult times.
The purpose of this message is to let you know we are still here, and are looking forward to commencing both our park competition, and, for those interested, entering teams in the Representative Competitions, Vawdon and State Cups.

In line with TFA and NSWTA the temporary suspension of our winter competition will be put back until 1st June. Balmain Touch will continue to monitor government recommendations in regards to community sporting competitions, and hopefully we will be back on the field soon. See you all then!
It is with regret we announce that for the first time in over 40 years BTFA will not be running a Winter Touch Competition. These times are very worrying for us all but hopefully if we are vigilant there will soon be some light at the end of the tunnel.
Stay healthy everyone and we will see you all as soon as we can.
Congratulations to our Director of Referees, Steven Pratt.
He has earned his Level 6 Black Badge at this year's National Touch League tournament.
He is now the highest rank he can achieve, and the highest ranked referee Balmain Touch Football Association has ever had.
Also, he is the Chairman of our Judicary Committee and he mentors our junior referees through on field support and referee coaching.
His words - "Many more 6’s to come for Balmain over the next few years."

At the recent NSW Touch Football State Cup held in Port Macquarie the Balmain club had 3 referees upgraded.
- Jacob Hogan and Charlotte Pratt from Level 1 to Level 2
- Craig Carmody from Level 3 to Level 4. Craig is now part of the elite group of State Graded referees.

Competitive in all 3 games on Friday, however results didn’t go our way.
A new day brought with it a new attitude & determination to give it all. And this is what the ladies did.
4 wins & a draw.
The pride & passion shown by the team particularly in their last game when they were reduced to 5 players on the field for just over 7 minutes with only 3 subs. The Tiger spirit shone through toughing out a 0-0 draw....
Due to the Melbourne Cup, there will be no games for the Mixed Competition next Tuesday, 5th November.
