Senior Competition is scheduled to commence on the 3rd and 4th of May.
Grand final day for all competitions will be on Sunday, 8th August, please note it down in your calendar.
Deadline for team registrations is April 26th.
It's a 12-week round competition with semi-finals and grand finals. Washouts/air quality/NSW Health regulations do interrupt our season, so we will be reinstating the double-header games for those missed rounds.
Games are played at Timbrell Park, Five Dock.
(nearest cross street, Augusta St)
Senior Team Nominations
There is a maximum number of 30 teams per night, due to field availability for winter. Teams are not guaranteed in their nominated division as we will be balancing out the divisions according to the teams' playing level, as well as numbers. Spots are limited for each slot. First in, first served for teams. Registrations will close in each division once we have hit the limit. Teams are then required to have the minimum 10 players registered within a reasonable time, as we may be able to open spots up for other players/teams.
|Mens and Womens||Monday nights||Div 1 - 6:40pm/7:30pm (duty refs will be mandatory)|
|Mixed Open||Tuesday nights||Div 1 - 6:40pm/7:30pm
Div 2 - 6:40pm/7:30pm
Div 3 - 7:30pm/8:20pm
Additional Division may be added pending playing levels
Game times may change weekly, due to referee/field availability
Cost is per player per team = $100. When managers register their team in MySideline, the players will need to register individually into their team, as payment is done during the registration process. If you are not registered by Round 1, you are unable to take the field.
If you are a Junior player (under 18 years old), playing in the Senior competition, you can register for $50 at this junior registration page. Please let us know via email which team you're playing with in the Senior competition and we will move you there, once you have registered.
For players playing in more than one competition, when registering in a second competition (or more), you will only pay an additional $50. You will also need to contact us via email to specify the competition/team you are playing in.
There is a minimum of 10 players per team, and must all be registered before the deadline, as the draw is drafted that week.
Duty Referees for Monday
We are trialling a new process for our Monday competition. Due to a scarcity of referees on the night, we will require a member from each registered team on Mondays to attend the referee course on April 29th, 6pm, with the intention of being called up to do duty refereeing. They will always be paired up with and supported by an experienced referee in the same game. It is mandatory to nominate one person per team to attend the Referee course, and be available each week when required to referee. If no player is nominated / attends the course, we may offer your spot to another team.
Teams can put forward a badged (1-6) non-BTFA referee, as their nominated duty referee. If they should officiate any matches throughout the season, in this instance, they will be paid as per the agreed payment structure set out by the club. Additionally, if any team can nominate a referee that can referee regularly, this would be appreciated, as we are always looking to recruit new officials. This would meet the requirement to nominate one player each week also.
Uniforms need to be set before round 1. Everyone in the team has to have the same pattern/colour and a unique number. This notice is going out earlier than usual, and turnaround time for uniforms to be made is from 4-6 weeks. Please let us know if you are having difficulty with uniforms as we do have a few spare sets for a good price. Additionally, the club's apparel partner, ISC, will provide discounted pricing for any Balmain Touch teams. Please advise us to seek out this rate.
Due to the current pandemic we need to abide by NSW Touch/NSW Health regulations. Further information for covid rules are found on our competition page.
After the team is registered, each player needs to be registered individually. Go to the register into a team page on MySideline or click on the below 'Player Rego' link. Search for your team, and make sure they are under the Balmain Touch group. Payment is required at this step.
If you're a Junior player playing in the Senior comp, click on 'Junior Player Registration' below, and register into the one team. Please email us to let us know which team your child is playing in.
Registrations will close on the 26th April.
